Headed out at 530am with Allyn and captain Mike. We had 10 bunkers and eels. We came out of Clinton Harbor and headed east at 50mph. The fishing spot today was off old Saybrook. First drift double hook ups, the fish were in the high 20's. The second drift I was on the front of the boat and the fish it on the yo. I thought for sure that this was myfirst 50lb fish of the year. This fish made that long run and my rod was bent in a hoop, after about 20 minutes I landed the fish. I weighed the fish at fisherman' paradise at 11 o clock. The fish was short and fat. The fish was 46 inches and weighed 41.78.We were back at the dock at 7am. | ||
