The popeye report May 24th

Headed out at 515 am with Ackmad, Habibe, Mohammed, Allyn, and Vinnie. We changed our tactics today because of work commitments.The tide was slack when we got to the fishing grounds. We had fresh dead bunkers on board. The fish finder was completely blank. We fished two hours with one fish that weighed 18lbs and two bluefish bight offs. The strong southwest wind from Wedesday night till Thursday morning pushed the fish off the reef, headed back to the dock at 815am. We hope the fishing will be better for the noreast tournament this weekend. We will have alot more time to explore.
