Report - I stink no more...

Well, after my Friday night rant on only catching schoolies, etc. I headed out early Saturday morning with Seaclops (Vin) and his son Garrett. We headed East out of Branford to this spot I recently discovered, I like to call it "Full **** Reef". LOL

Yeah I know other people on this board will say they turned me onto this spot, but believe who want to believe.

Anyway, we get to the reef and we run into the infamous Full **** and Stress Reliever, who would have guessed it? They weren't doing much in the way of catching fish because they were too busy playing with toilet paper, for some strange unknown reason.

But I'm there to fish, so I 3 wayed a fresh chunk of porgy I had caught the night before. On the second drift, which Seaclops piloted us to, I dropped my line and it didn't even get to the bottom, when I hook up.

The line is screaming off the spool like none before. I thought I was going to get spooled by this monster unknown fish. But after a skillfully managed battle by myself and a tiny bit of help from Seaclops, I landed my biggest bass ever. Vin netted it and had trouple getting it over the rail. It taped out at 40 inches and weighed in at 28 lbs. according to my cheapo digital scale. Fish seemed much much heavier, but until I calibrate the scale, we'll go with that weight. LOL

Caught a couple of blues after that and not much more, so we headed in to beat the crowds.

A great day fishing with friends and a joy to finally catch a nice bass especially in the presence of Stress and ****. Yeah baby !!!

Oh yeah, my first "Full **** Mount" ! Don't get any better than that!
