Report June 4
Today's weather called for some heavy rains at time and winds that I thought never really develop while we were out. After loading up on fresh bait we stayed in the general area that has been very productive for me even though at times can get a little slow if your not on the right drift. We took 7 bass in the 22 lb range this morning and had more dropped. The bass seem to be having a hard time swallowing the large menhaden that's been in the area. The other charter captains loaded up with bait and took the long ride from where we are getting bait and went to the Providence river. Reports came back that action turned on up there a little later but some good bass were caught.

We still have a seat for Monday June 9 on the half day Striped Bass trip. Ths is a split shared charter. 401-253-9639
