Striper, Fluke, Blues on the new Fortier

Went out with the old man this AM, nice morning, stiff breeze....good 4'ers, steep at the bay entrance.....trolled T&W around Anawan, Varnum, and Narrow River entrance.....

1 nice keeper bass (low 30" range), a bunch of small-medium blues (kept a few for the smoker).

Headed over to Austin Hollow and grabbed 5 keeper fluke to 22", with at least as many throwbacks. Headed in just before the rain with a nice assortment of fish.

This boat eats up snappy weather (like today), like it's nobody's business. Sweet! 8)

I fish the same area. I am a fan of the fortiers. where do you keep it?

Fished from bonnet to narrow river yesterday. not too much action after sunnup. some schoolies and blues. hit southern tip of dutch island and had a couple more schoolies.

i have heard of some decent fish in that area but I haven't found them yet.

Hi Zac,

Boat's in Allen Harbor for now. Where are you at? We may have seen each other fishing in those areas before, and never knew it LOL.....

My family's been fishing these areas for 30+ years now, myself, well, almost 30, since I could stand on my 2 feet LOL. 8)
