Striper Poachers yesterday

Yesterday while we were fishing there was a center console near us. They were keeping short stripers. they had a couple on a rope dragging off the back of the boat. They were not hiding it. it looked like they were pround of the fish.
I called the DEP. If anyone knows where this boat is slipped let me know. If you see them out there and they are poaching call the dep

Was thinking the same gman, look like yuppies out fishing with the big camera and all. Either way, illegal, and deserved of DEP enforcement. Alot of folks who don't fish the salt think all fish caught are legal, regardless of size, and pay little to no attention to the creel limits.

despite the fact that she had a nice ass she should have a nice ticket slapped onto it for keeping illegal size fish. sooner or later the warden will catch up with them. I just hope its sooner rather than later. you would think DEP could enlarge the picture, get the boat reg # and track them down that way. I suppose its all heresay unless they actually catch them in the act though.
