| Northeast Let's talk 'bout fishing for local in-shore species |
What have you got to say about the topic of: "Thought it was another 50...". Here's how is started: "After an extensive battle back and forth, I managed to boat a real nice striper "

After an extensive battle back and forth, I managed to boat a real nice striper the other day. It's certainly not my biggest but I can say without a doubt this fish fought better than any other to day. When I started to lift it out of the water, I realized the head and first 2 feet were of very larger proportions. Unfortunately, it was just 47" long.... It left me wondering where the rest of it was.... Crappy pics, sorry... 45 pounds 10 ounces.

Sure was an odd shaped striper. It's not my first... I once caught a striper in the Narrow River that was 54" long and weighted just 36 pounds 12 ounces. One of these days......
