Seaflower reef is pretty close to you, or try north hill just south of seaflower. Good luck with the father in law!

blackfish/ct. waters

You should be able to take a few fish on the demarcation line,black can near latimers,wait for the tides to slow down.,bring at least 3-4 dz. crabs as the scup are there too..be careful of the Ny line,stay in ct.water.there season starts oct 1----good luck.

blackfishing aboard "special K" takes place oct=nov.

if you choose to drop hook on a local rockpile the sea bass have been showing themselves in pretty good numbers. provides a fun, light tackle day for the guests with plenty of "dinner-plate" size scup to boot. many good humps & rock-piles within sight of the mouth of the mystic.

makes for a terrific fish-fry!

c=ya out there! ..mk

SEAHUNT
RI. was closed the month of June, it is open now. Belive me I know, on June 14th I caught the BIGEST blackfish I have ever caught while fluke fishing and had to throw it back.

Rich

BTW FLUKEYOU Latimer and Old Reef ( RI. ) is where I do all my tog fishing.
