What have you got to say about the topic of: "tog trip 8/31.....". Here's how is started: "well made a call to not run to blocks east side in the stiff northwest "

| well made a call to not run to blocks east side in the stiff northwest wind in search of some last minute fluke. so justin and i loaded up on green crabs and headed to a lil spot i normally tog fish in the fall. and low and behold they were waiting for me. managed approx 60/70 tog with every thing from milkduds to a few hefty 7 lb er's all very health and plump. released all fish. a few pics of justin. and one pissed off gull. no freebies this time | ||

| Just curious as to why you did not keep two togs per person as for both Ct and RI (as I understand it) the tog season was open on 8/31? Of course, if you were in NY waters, well that is another story. Very good report as I was starting to get concerned again considering the off and on again tog fishing of last season and since we now have a severely limited open Fall season this year.
