| Correct me if i am wrong but i read it was 12.98 million pounds and maybe getting bumped up to 17 mil. There is alot of rumors going around well need to wait and see what each state gets. This is Rhode islands latest marine update. http://www.dem.ri.gov/news/2006/pr/1215061.htm | ||

| Hi Andy, Thanks for the updates. I wonder if the TAL adjustment will actually help the rec sector in RI, or if it is a done deal. We were way over our quota last year, and may suffer as a result. It will be interesting to see how the changes to the comm limits will reverb to us. I did find it great that they finally introduced some regulations on codfish for 2007. The old 19" no bag limit and no closures was ridiculous. The new regs for comm guys will all but end any efforts whatever little was left, of harvesting codfish in state waters for commercial gain.....as well as set some restrictions on the rec sector should they start to come back to catchable numbers in our waters. Dom
