WOW what a morning!!!!

I hit the water this morning at 3:45. i had a net full of bunker by 4. i set up in the harbor and had the first keeper by 4:15.The action was hot and heavy all morning. I ran to the outside of the walls and hit fish. Then I got a call from sashimi and he said he was into fish. I pulled anchor and ran to his spot. There were fish and lots of them. They hit right thru slack tide and into the incoming. The only reason I left was because i ran out of bait. on the way in I hit a couple of last years hot spots. I 3 wayed a bucktail and got even more stripers. Those fish are everywhere out there.
The funniest thing that happened this morning was a good size deer swam by me in the harbor. It was moving pretty good to. I guess she was hot or something. All fish were from 32-40 inches and fat
Gary thanks alot for the call this morning.

Is that first picture one of "3 waying a bucktail"? If it is I think you are supposed to use just the tail! LOL
Maggie and I saw them swim across the Connecticut river by our old marina Oak Leaf, quite often. Even the fawns can go quite aways on the water with that hollow hair. Funny thing was they always came to shore between docks at the marina and just ignored the people there.
