Does anyone know the prime time of year for snook & reds ? I will be fishing Florida (gulf side) in March.

| I went a few years back in the middle of march it was a blast on lite tackle. my son hired a flats guide for 4 hours we ended up fishing 8 hours, Want to go back for tarpon maybe next winter | ||

| I think fall is the best time for those species but if we have a short winter the end of March could be promising. I would fish the mouths of creeks with good tidal flow using large live shrimp or D.O.A. shrimp worked very slowly along the bottom. If you can catch a Ladyfish , cut it up and use chunks soaked on the bottom. Lots of times snook and reds prefer that over evrything else | ||
