Temps: Hi-79
Lo-67
Water-70
Wind dir & speed: Variable & Stiff

Weak cold front blew in this a.m. and stalled. Went fishin anyway and caught a small whiteing and some short grouper in Captiva Pass. Front should pull back tomorrow, so i'm gonna go again Sunday. Should be better if the waters not to stirred up. Let ya know how it goes. So long for now, Richard

Yeah, burr cold front. I'll remember tis post when I'm setting the anchor tomorrow morning on the muscle bed in 30 degree weather, looking for some tog.

I would love to catch a grouper, I hear they are making a comeback.

Didn't happen. wind stayed up there around 20. Gonna try to get out this week

Well today is a sad day, its the closing day of snook season so the logical thing to do was go snook fishing last night. It was my fishin buddy Elbert's turn to decide on the spot so he decided to save some gas money and do some bridge fishing. He catches more fish from bridges and canal banks than most guides do from their $50,000.00 flats boats.
Heres the results: He caught a 35",36"&34" all to big to keep. I managed to get a baby poon & a 28 incher that fit in the 27" - 33" legal slot
