GAELIC GALA TO CELEBRATE HALF WAY TO PARADE DAY
The New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is celebrating “halfway to the parade” with a “Gaelic Gala” on Thursday, September 20 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Christopher Martin’s Restaurant, 860 State Street, New Haven.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the 2008 Parade which is planned for Sunday, March 9, 2008. Tickets are $40.00 per person and include hor's d'vours, buffet dinner with carving station, beer and wine, served from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Included with the price of admission is the newly-released 2008 parade booster button. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by “The Tipperary Knights.”
Event Chairman, Kevin A. Smith said: “This annual event is a reminder the 2008 St. Patrick's Day Parade will be here in 6 months and we look forward to seeing old and new friends present to help us in our efforts to put the best parade ever on the streets of New Haven.”
