If any of you out there are into classic racing/fishing boats there is a new website that chronicles the birth of Seacraft. the site is under construction by the daughter of Carl Mosely who is the inventor of the VDR (Variable Dead Rise) hull. Check it out. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() MoeslySeaCraft ![]() ![]() Last edited by Bryan A.; 11-23-2007 at 07:42 AM. | ||

| Great info Bryan! When I first bought my Formula, I did a lot of reserach into Vintage Formula (hence the name Fintage lol), all the way to the company that still produces the "Formula 233" today! Edencraft Boats Australia Edencraft 233 Formula I think the Seacraft 23 and Formula 23 are the very 2 hulls that pioneered so many successful designs over the years, and still today.....though very different designs! ![]()

| Throw in the Ray Hunt deep vee (aka Bertram hull) and you have the trifecta or should I say The Holy Trinity of boat building. | ||

| Although beautiful and seaworthy, my vote still goes to Dick Fisher and then Bob Dougherty with Boston Whaler. My favorite
