|  Doesn't it just SUCK........... ........................... .....when your dog (or cat) gets cancer, especially at only 6 1/2 yrs old?????  We ask for it by owning animals, that's for sure......but it really sucks. Our Siberian Husky had emergency surgery Thursday last week for what they believed to be a tumor on the spleen, which they would "simply" remove (whole spleen, etc). Usually a full recovery unless it is malignant. Turned out he had a large tumor on one lobe of his liver, and it was also kind of attached to his gall bladder. They feel they sucessfully removed it all (including the gall bladder). But today we found out that tumor was malignant. He came home Saturday afternoon, but is back in today for a couple days for a leaking incision and also to get fluids and antibiotics, to get him back on track so he'll eat. Was doing fairly well before this. But they think they just need to get him over this hump from the surgery, and that he may even have a full recovery, which is possible with a "Primary Liver Tumor" as long as it didn't metastasize, and if they got it all. Day by day.......... This is one good dog that deserves a chance!

| i'm sorry to hear that. i hope that everyting works out ok. i'll give a shout out to the man upstairs for you. i just went through a nice rough spot in my life as well and i know that it can be tough. all you can do is hope for the best.  |

| That sucks is right!!! Sorry to hear that. Been through it twice with my previous dogs. There's an emotional tie there....... Good luck, I hope it works out for him & you guys....

| Eric, sorry to hear about the pup. They are only here a short time but it's amazing how attached we get to them. I went through a similar thing a few years back with my oldest brit and it was one of the hardest things I have gone through. Enjoy them while you can!

| Thanks guys............ Doesn't help when you have "SUCKER" tattooed on both your forehead AND your ass lol.......the animlas know exactly who to attach themselves to!

| Sorry to hear Eric I'm a sucker for a wet nose like you are. I've got two dogs. (Pepper and Furface) Furface is 15 years old and not doing very good. It really sucks
