Anthonys' football season ended with yet another extremely diappointing championship game. I dont get it, I cant understand it ...well yes I can after coaching football for years but it doesnt make it any easier to stomach. Even as I dont coach anymore it kills me to watch 2005 7-3 lost championship 14-13 2006 8-2 lost championship 14-13 2007 10-0 lost championship 31-8 After ending the season perfect, destroying the playoff contender and beating the team we were about to play again 16-8 earlier this season we had high hopes this was the year. Unfortunately we had blocked punts for touchdowns, long TD passes and fumbles that led to our demise. Anthony had an outstanding season and really showed lightning speed after comming back from his bag leg break last year. He had some spectacular TD's this season so I guess its the old saying ... Well get em next season | ||

| After coaching sports for years, I've had the same thing at all levels. I've ruled it out to them being kids who want to play with Lego's, beat each other up, laugh and do things kids are suppose to do. The important thing is that he's not behind the video game machine.......he's out playing a disciplined sport, learning things like team work, & respect.........so give him a "hockey punch" for me and tell him good job.........you'll get em next year

| Thanks guys just venting ...I couldnt be any happier with his personal effort. The kid broke his tibia, fibia, growth plate and ankle this time last year and still was one of the fastest kids on the field and had some truly amazing scores. Just worked out that they couldnt close it out again. After coaching football for years it breaks my heart to see a season end without the championship when you go undefeated. As he said it ...more time to fish. we are going 150 miles offshore Texas for 3 days fishing for yellowfin tuna to make up for the loss. LOL | ||

| Congratulations Anthony on a great season. You may have lost the final game and that's disappointing for sure, but sometimes you learn more from a loss than a win. Get em next year!

| Winning is the only thing that matters LOL only joking ... I think?! Hey this is funny during the game I could sense the momentum was changing I said to myself "OK I would sacrafice the Steelers whole season just for a win today" (if you knew me you would understand how huge that is) Just to see the hapiness on my sons face - The result, the steelers lost to the friggin jets, AND we lost - Not the result I was looking for Go figure | ||

| No harm meant, actually hate to admit it but my team is Denver.....now I'll put my head under my pillow.........I'll watch all the teams if they're good games Steelers look good at 7-3 who's left to play before playoff's??
