New Ride for the CampGround

Went down and visited good ol' Rudy @ Route 66 Motorsports today. He got a real nice 1992 Yamaha Golf Cart in trade, and I just happened to be in the market, so down I went to pick it up. Will make looking for the kids and traveling around the 35 acre campsite we summer at, much more convenient.

It is gas, 4-stroke. You can pick up ones of this age anywhere between $1,000-1,700, depending on the overall condition and overall setup (plain cart, top, backseat, etc...), as well as whether you're buying from an individual or a retail seller. As they get newer, they go up, but you can still get an ol' plain Jane for around $2K.

If you're considering buying one, there are alot of places, but give Rudy a call and see what he's got, or just let him know you'd be interested should anything come in on trade. Rt 66 Motorsports customizes carts, so they do alot of "high-end" cart work, but do get trades.

Funny, I have a neighbor who took and old electric cart that wasn't working. Added a 90 cc four wheeler engine with controls. He then rigged up a hydraulic ram from a plow to make a dump bed. This thing is a riot.
