Bones Punks and Scumbags beware

Capt. Dom caught a couple punks screwing around on my boys boat, now mommy and daddy gotta come bail their asses out!

I was three boats over, checking out my buddies powerwash job on his lobster gear, when I heard some banging around on my other friends Young Brothers downeast. I start to walk over when someone launches a big coil of 7/16" rope up onto the seawall, followed by 2 sorting baskets and a bunch of floats......

I made em stayhalf way up the ladder, off the boat, until the local boys showed up to handle it. I was tempted to have them test the water for me

I finally caught one of the dirtbags that seems to hit the yards at least once a winter. Turns out one of em has been arrested before, for guess what.....Vandalism and theft off a 98 Cabo in a different yard just last year.

Those boys had some nuts on em, I'll give em that. They were on a commercial dock in broad daylight....They threatened to "kill me" and swore at me, but once I loomed over the top of the ladder, they knew they had nowhere to run, and I was as serious as a bad case of the clap.

You shoulda seen their whole attitude change when the 5.0 rolled in. Perfect little gentleman, not that it helped.

Great Job

Dom,

Great job and I hope the bug man appreciated what you did. I wish the judge would make them load traps and bait all summer as part of the restitution. That would teach them,

Dave

Those big poly balls are worth some bucks. The little bastages had 4 of em, and with the 200 plus foot length of brand new NE 3 strand rope, they coulda had enough money to put something in the philly blunt that fell out of the one in cuffs pocket. The one with his arms folded seemed like he was the tag along, and he looked really scared.

The fat one is gonna get his sumday....cops say he is trouble all the time.

Dave,

worst part is they are both juveniles, so no real trouble for them. They should have to bait all my boys traps with putrid salted pogies, everytime the temp hits over 82 degrees this summer.....That might just cure em of their disease

Good for you!
Hope the judge gives em some work to do. Maybe scrapin' bottoms.
Our marina just installed a security camera. No problems this year but last year some boats were relieved of some equipment.
I often wonder when you see ebay ads....gps (no harness or ant.) or fish finder(like new, no harness or transducer) if that stuff is borrowed.

I was talking to one of the guys in our yard and he said last week they had four guys from New York come to seatrial a brand new Rampage, after the sea trial he caught two of they trying to "borrow" the life raft off a friends Hatteras. WTF!!! Sea trial a $600,000 plus boat then try to steal a $2000 life raft? Cops were called and they were arested.
