| That's pretty crazy. It's really is amazing the number and types of alternative heat/fuel sources there are. I, personally, think all of this stuff is long since discovered and buried by the government and petroleum industry, as any mass creation of this type of fuel source in a marketable, salable product would effectively put the oil industry out of business. remember it's not just gas, heating oil (diesel), etc.. There a literally thousands of byproducts to petroleum, that we all use every day. |

| I suspect the inventor is either a nut or a con man. The thing that bothers me about his presentation is he never mentions how much energy was needed to break up the salt water into hydrogen and oxygen. Usually mother nature does not give away anything for free when it comes to transforming energy from one form to another by mankind. There is hydro, thermal, solar, wood, oil, and wind, free more or less for the taking, but as soon as one tries to convert one form of energy to another form there are losses (nuclear is a different type of animal.) It is impossible to convert one form of energy to another and end up with more than what you started with. It is a violation of one of the basic laws of thermodynamics (conservation of energy.) It comes under the same hat as the perpetual motion machine. Not saying that it is impossible to build a perpetual machine and bust one of the laws of thermodynamics, but no one has done it yet although many have claimed such.

| kinda like ethanol? after manufacturing & delivery (by diesel truck) it cost more than the energy it produces. corn is for FOOD! interesting thought anyway, saltwater fuel, all technologys start off price prohibitive. if it's worth pursuing eventually it becomes cost effective. |
