| I fish alot of very small rockpiles and wrecks. what I do to make it easier to anchor where i want to be is. As I go over the wreck i drop down a brick tied to a lobster bouy. then i line the boat up drop anchor and back down to the bouy. it takes alot of guess work of where the structure is. I also use that drifting small stucture. drop the bouy then just keep drifting by it. ok what did i win

| reelcrazy, i second the bouy marker method for anchoring up on the small pieces you want to target. particularly when the anchor dosen't always bite the first drop. (like when toggin'). you beat me to the post on this little fishing tip so you keep the prize tp yourself! kev, you are mr. know-it-all..... thats why we wait for your informative posts two vessels in the water this season???cheers! mick | ||
