Windows Vista Upgrade ??

Anyone make the jump and upgrade to Windows Vista?

Just curious. I am in the process now if upgrading my primary machine, waiting for it to finish (I have a near data center in my office, with ALOT of equipment, so I can continue to surf the web while doing the upgrade).

I am NOT a huge Microsoft fan, but that's where the industry is, and I have to support the stuff in my side endeavors, so a Vista machine was required for me to be familiar with the O/S.

be carefull

I know several people who had issues installing it. I actually switched over to the other side 3 months ago. I am now using a mac, a mac book pro and I
I love this damn thing. I dont know if I could go back

Back to the upgrade, 99.8% of my company is using pc's 3 people had there system go down during install but it was fixed pretty quickly. Vista looks awesome very similiar to the mac system now

good luck

Me neither Bob, but I have to be familiar with it in order to effectively fix it, since I take in 2-3 puters a week for repair.

BTW, it is a royal PITA with device compatability.

I'm sticking with XP for now.

We have no need for Vista.
