Bought a new boat there quite a few weeks ago, or, at least, I think I did. They have my $$. But I don't have the boat. Also, communication is a one way street. I call, I email--no one ever gets back to me. For a dealer with such a good rep, I'm very disappointed. Anyone share this experience?

We bought our new boat(maritime skiff 1890, 90 E-TEC, Karavan trailer) there a little over a year ago.
Ordered it and it was delivered on time without a problem.
I don't believe the salesman that worked with us, works there any longer.
Who are you dealing with? I'd go down in person and speak with Paul.
Let us know how it goes.

Atlantic

I repowered there in 2005, good service but the engine took about 4 weeks longer than they claimed to put on the boat. I delivered my boat in March - got it back the first week of May. I think your just dealing with spring backlog. Visit in person as Bob and Mag suggested. Jack

I got two new outboards (2X115hp Johnsons) from them, good price on the engines but the "got me" on the installation (over $5K). The (new) controls they installed never worked right and the motors had "problems" but I had no recourse as their standard answer was "bring it in"; knowing full well I'm in Quincy, Ma. - about 2 1/2 hours away.............JC

Congrats on the almost new boat.We are in late spring and every person that has something to do with a boat is so backed up with work and orders and phone calls it brings out the worst in all.Just like the pizza joint on friday when they tell you 1 1/2 hours and your hungry now.I dont really think its atlantic outboard being a bad place .THERE BUSY.Like mention'd above take a ride out there .If you can get through the traffic on Rte 1

Tough time of year for those guys. Everyone wants there boats in yesterday.

I would go down after work a few days and keep asking. Squeaky wheel syndrome. I purchased a used boat from them many years ago when they were across the street and buy all my Johnrude parts there. Very knowledgable but can be slow sometimes due to work load.

Doesn't help that most school systems are cutting their Tech Ed programs and it becomes harder and harder to find qualified people who can work on things. Paul is a good guy, give him time.

So what did you buy? Curious.
Hopefully they can get you set up soon.
I think, as mentioned it's a tough time of year. We always bought our boats in winter as it seems better prices and you're the only one bugging them at that time of year.
Wish you luck.
