Canvas...

I picked up a full enclosure for my boat today (used) and need someone near RI as much as possible for repairs.

Any suggestions?

Well, no canvas guys are "cheap".......

but down my way (like 2 minutes from me) is Fit N Stitch on Rt. 2 in North Kingstown.

Used him years ago for a dodger on a V-20, and a friend of mine still uses him for all sorts of repairs (seems he ruins something different every year!)

My console cover and leaning post cover are out for modification right now. I am using Gidget Loomis. She is right in North Kingstown, RI (Duck Cove). This is the first time I've used her but she was recommended by someone on the SNESA email list. Her rate is $50/hr for repair. She checks it out and gives you an estimate. She told me she's been doing it for close to 30yrs. She is a sailmaker also. Her e-mail is duckcove@aol.com .

You may want to send her a note to see what she says.

We must live very close because they are 2 minutes from me as well.

I have heard they are a good outfit as well, but I have never used them.

B2, if you use them, please post your feedback, I am thinking about a custom console cover and a custom LP cover.
