That 32 is a classic! A friend of mine used to have a 36, same vintage. Very similar boat. He is kicking himself for selling his.

What vintage is the Whaler. We still have a '68 17'. My cousin owns it now and it has been sitting in his yard for about 5 years. I'm thinking I should go take it back.

Nice boats!!! Keep the pics comming.

In the pea-soup the first year I had her - Memorial Day Weekend - We were headed back from Piccozi's Marina over on Shelter Island, NY - That was a funny weekend -

Howard Stern's lawyer friend, Dominic Barber, comin' into his slip sideways pie-eyed....helped him in, he flipped us a bottle of Dom for the effort -

Lost $250 on the coca-cola 500 because Jimmy Johnson wanted to play ass-tag after leading most of the race -CRUNCH!!- Oh, well....

There were 12 boats together crawling across the sound in fog so thick you couldn't see past the bow - we looked like a string of pearls on my radar

Bryan, it is a 2003 Boston Whaler (Montauk). I got her new, she is mint not a chip in the gel coat anywhere. Definitely, no yacht but she is just what I wanted as most of the time I fish w/only 1 or 2 guys. If I ever become computer literate maybe I can figure out how to down load the photos from my digital camera.

PS Thanks for the advice w/the motor. If I can I would much rather do all the work I can on her, I don't trust most marina's...they just don't treat your equipment right. Everytime I take my boat somewhere it always comes back a mess or something is scratched, chipped or broken. Anyway thanks !

Nice pics. I always love those lapstrake Gradys. Did you build the pilot house?

We should meet up and raft this year sometime. We usually do the fireworks on the Thames and then the fireworks at 3-mile harbor, keep it in mind.

I agree about doing things yourself. Most of the time if you ask questions it can be figured out. Thats what makes boards like this so valuable.

One thing you can tell from all these boats is we are all "regular Joes" with a boating problem. No crazy expensive dock sitters.

Hi Bryan, Nope I got it with the pilot house already on it. And it already had the I/O removed and a gill bracket put on. It's got personality for sure LOL.
