....cleaning greyed teak. What do you guys use? Have some mold in places on seaboard(starboard material) and fiberglass. I am using clorox/water mix and lots of elbow grease. Also using same with a nylon scrub pad to brighten teak for a new coat/coats of oil. Amazing how fast that stuff turns grey out in the sun. I oiled it once a month last season and it wasn't nearly enough I guess. Piece under canvas still looks great, so I'm assuming sun/weather was the cause. Maggie said try tilex, just want to check around for others opinions. Thanks all!

| I heard Magic Eraser works but I have not tried it. I usually used what ever is left over in the garage from last season. | ||

| When I get some mold on the rough fiberglass (no gelcoat) inside compartments and in the bilge, I usually just brush it with some water and a brush. It cleans up pretty easily. I heard bleach is the way to go but it cleans up pretty easy without it. It might grow back faster doing it my way though. | ||

Bryan is right...magic eraser works awesome! Mold, dirt, scum etc. The only drawback is if you have an abrasive surface to clean the sponges get chewed up right quick! Never without them on my boat! Worked wonders on the inside of my t-top! Bob | ||

| Thanks all for the tips. I finished the cc doors/frame/teak with clorox and water. Worked well and lets you know if you've got any cuts on your hands LOL. Maggie said wear rubber gloves, I said NAH, then couldn't say damn that hurts while she watched LOL. I'll have to get some of that magic eraser and give that a shot. Thanks again! No easy access to pressure washer, but thanks.
