Fiberglass HELP!

I needed to replace a panel on my pilot house on my boat. I cut and put the new piece of plywood and when I glassed it in. I mixed up the polyester resin and painted it on put the cloth on and painted more resin over it. The problem I'm having it it is drying VERY SLOWWW. I may not have put enough hardener in the resin. Is there anything to do if I didn't put enough? or am I SOL?

Its probably because of the cold. I don't use polyester anymore, I switched to epoxy for most repairs but you might try a thin coat of some over catalyzed resin. Not too much. You may get it to harden up but the layer against the wood may remain tacky.
If it is hardening but just a little sticky I would put some heat to it like a light or something not to much but enough to get the reaction going a little quicker. The sooner the better, don't wait till tomorrow. Hope that helps.

Agree with Bryan. It's cold, so if you didn't put a little extra catalyst it will take longer to kick. Hanging a light for some heat should help. May take awhile longer than normal with this unbalmy weather.

Well I put a little quartz heater in the tent last night and the section I put it infront of dried ok, I just moved it over, I'll keep checking and moving it till it's all dry. What a Pain.

Yep. Somewhere I had a chart for catalyst/resin ratio for various temperature ranges. If I can find it, I'll post it for future reference.
It'll still setup but will take awhile.

OK, I'll throw some pics up as I progress with it. Don't expect much, I hate fiberglass work.
