Cool Installation has begun...finally

Spent the day down at ARC-TEK Marine, and with the help of Jim & Roy, we managed to pull my ol' boat out from behind the other 10 boats that were blocking her in. 3+ hours of hauling.

After that, I finished ripping out the old helm and steering cable, and began the installtion of the new Sea Star Hydraulic Steering. Got the cylinder installed and the hoses routed through the boat to the helm. Now to fabricate a mounting plate from Starboard for the helm pump and fill her up and bleed. This will be completed by this coming Saturday.

Once that is done, I have also received my Furuno 1623 Radar setup, so that needs to go in as well. By the end of the month, it will be done.

The progress is now underway, with the hopes for the boat to go in the weekend prior to Memorial Day weekend.

To Be Continued....

Only 3 hours to move all those boats. If yours was in the back, that would have made a great youtube video. Glad you were able to get to her and good luck with the projects.
