| Not Good any moisture in or around will freeze or corrode,I would disconnect all wires and spray with penetrating oil or apply that electric silicone | ||

| Most of the manuals say to not leave them out in temps. < 10f. There should be a temp range high/low for them in each book. I made my electronics box so that I can unplug some wires and bring the whole panel in with the electronics. Better safe than sorry.

| The most important thing is the LCD screens........ As Bob said, they'll freeze at real low temps....... We're removing all of them in my father's boat.....they are flush mount but not a big deal....unplug them and pull 'em out. Too expensive to let the cold F them up.

Arc.: Don't forget some electronics have internal batteries,for memories etc. cold is a killer on batt's. Store them in a warm,dry place and don't forget to use dielectric on plugs and pins. Don | ||

| Absolutely correct the LCD can freeze and ruin the display. I have to take out my Fish Finders, Radio, Chart Plotter, and Radar unit. Armand | ||

| Here's a picture of the panel that goes into my electronics box. Makes it very easy to remove all at once and safely store for the winter.
