| Jack, We bought a 128 qt Igloo cooler. We'll freeze a bunch of 2 liter soda bottles filled with water and it keeps down the mess. The cooler fits behind the leaning post with plenty of room for us to walk between it and the transom and if striper fishing or trolling we'll put it between the bow platform and cc and there still is enough space to walk through there. It seems to provide all the space we need for lots of fish and ice. I've not had a problem with it sliding around although if you're concerned get a couple pieces of that non-skid fabric to lay under it but don't think you'll need it based on our use. Note: If you're going to purchase one of these, check out Boater's World (Old Saybrook) as we bought it there with a padded seat cover for less money that West Marine(Clinton) wanted for just the cooler. I also didn't want to start punching holes in the floor and was pleasantly surprised how well it fit in various locations on the boat and didn't move around. It also will fit along side of our cc though you won't walk past it there, but just trying to point out options for various types of fishing. Good Luck. Quote:
