| Eric, yes it is a Mako and I am a pansy who likes to be warm and dry and it also protects the interior from the weather. I still believe this is an item to do right. | ||

and we all know it isn't always flat out there often LOL....especially in the afternoons.I ask, because I have "secretly" been looking at late 80's 250 and 260 walkarounds

| Quote: I will probably have some cover of the front of my console to cover my seat there and the rod holders (they drain down into my console). I would probably still want to cover my electronics with something too. I don't like to leave that stuff out in the elements. These would just be for storage while in the slip though. Not while running. Do you have any other covers to go along with this set up. Another guy told me he had some type of plexiglass put on 3 sides of his console. That sounds reasonable too but you can't take it down if you want to. Any ideas on this? GP | |||

| I have a modified console cover to leave on at the dock so the controls are covered. Nothing special. I like my enclosure alot. It becomes my best friend during late fall runs for stripers and blackfiish. PG | ||

| I found something online and it looks pretty decent for the front windshield coverage. I still wouldn't have any coverage on the sides of my t top. Look here.... Sea Blocker It isn't quite the same as an enclosure but it is a lot cheaper (a lot). Here are a few pictures the owner sent me. GP | ||

i put a three sided enclosure with doors that could be rolled up the doors went all the way to the back of leaning post cost was around 900.00 the guy that did the work was in stratford ct, tailor right guy does nice work comes right to boat to work on. if you go with canvas make sure when they use snaps to install canvas they don't space snaps to far apart or canvas will take a beating the snaps on mine are 6 inches apart.use cheap vinly on doors use optical vinly on front windshield and make sure you install azipper on windshield for foggy days or at night. to keep cost down don't use optical vinly on the sides use the cheap stuff onthe front us the best money could buy and use the only plexus to clean vinly never use soap on vinly like when your washing boat. had mine enclosure for 5 years still like new | ||
