When we were running the V-20, ONLY Quicksilver ever went into that Black Max.

Probably why today she still runs like a champ! And it's an '83 pre-injection

Extra oil every fillup too!

It's BRP's oil comes in xd-30, xd-50 and xd-100 (roughly 30:1, 50:1 and 100:1 ratio, set up in the engines computer to send just enough) not sure what the xd stands for except maybe foreign for big bucks. 38 bucks a gallon.
Motor can be set up for either though using in cold weather the xd100 is recommended. Costs about twice the xd50 but lasts twice as long.
I added only 2 quarts of oil all season.
We can bring the jug back and fill from the bulk tank later for about 1/2 price...maybe next year.

Am I the only cheap sucker here? I use the lubrimatic in my 225 Yamaha and it runs great. From what I've read and actually called and spoke to the oil manufacturer it's all the same only difference is die additive and some put a little carbon guard in the oil which I can add myself much cheaper.
