Finishing touches.

Guys these projects look incredible! How do I go about sealing the wood before and after painting?

the answer to that question varies from builder to builder

The most accessable would be a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and thinner.
dip the plug a few minutes before painting then let it dry for about a week

just becareful using that. if the linseed oil is left on a rag it can catch fire
