| Just opened up the hot tub and found the lure floating near the filters with the recirc running. It ran through 2 1 hour filter sessions at 100 degrees F and was in there 11 hours.  Hook damage into the wood  No noticeable swelling. Paint looks fine too. I'll leave it in the sun for a few hours to see if there is any effect. Previous tests have proven to reveal flaking and cracking almost within a few hours of being wet. I am very optimistic. I think that if it is still intact at this point, I have a winner.

| I'll let you all in on it after I have had a chance to prove its effectiveness. Wouldn't want you all to screw up a bunch of work based on my preliminary observations. Don't worry, I move just a little slower than the Food & Drug Administration  I won't be too long.....

| BTW... through wiring is out the door (for me) too. I figured it's time we stepped away from the 19th century and into the 21st. There are all sorts of new materials out there that perform as well and do not open the lure interior to water intrusion.
