Stove's cooking. Nice and warm too.
I just finished priming a hundred plus plugs. Back's killing me from standing. Go figure.... I move lumber and plywood with little issue but a stand in a spot too long and I'm back on Vicodin

Well, I'm starting to learn my limitations. Very slowly though.

Cripes if Jay, Armand and I ever started to compare injuries and surgeries we'd never get anything done...more damn scar tissue among us than little liver pills!
HEY...I'M LIKIN' "CANE CONSTRUCTION" IDEA. LOL

Well, some cold weather, lots of aches and pains have passed and we got finally busy again. Wife has been working a lot and I can't get much done without her. She took some time off and we managed to get the shed framed and sheathed.

Here's where we stand now....

Still have to finish the back wall. I kept it open to get the plywood for the roof up there more easily.
The window going in there is 3' by 9' with a fixed glass center section and a slider on each side. Home Depot had it on clearance for $150. Should work out well. The view from up there is nice too. Beaver pond is draining and the back yard is growing. I'll try to get a pic later today. I show the kids yesterday and told them the 2nd floor was for them. They are thrilled.

It's not even done and we moved stuff in already

Warmer weather = more work done...
Shed is all wrapped with Tyvek and the roof has the felt on it and is awaiting shingles. Windows are in too...

I'll take a pic tomorrow.

Today, we built some doors for the front out of some old weathered, very wide pine. Some of the boards were 18" across. I had to cull through the old stuff but managed to get enough rustic looking wood to make a couple nice barn doors.

Here is one of them going through a 20" planer:

And the almost finished doors...

I'll soon have a lot more room in the shop.
