I'm thinking of making another pallet purchase of some turning stock. I'm looking at 1 3/8" by 8 7/8" maple dowels or 1 3/8" by 8 7/8" beech dowels. This is clear stuff with no knots, checks or defects to speak of. I don't need a full pallet (1500 to 2000 pieces). Anyone here interested in some? I'm in northern RI and could drive a bit to help you all out. I would be looking to sell them in 100 count batches and I would rather not ship them. It would raise the cost substantially. Cost would be $1.00 each or a little less. If there is enough interest to cover about half the pallet I might be able to do it. Let me know....

| Jay, I'd leave this up for the weekend at least. That way most people will have seen it. Lots of guys here make plugs, so there may be interest in the wood.

| Okay.... Would a smaller diameter be preferred? I could drop down to 1" or 7/8"....
