Interesting Japanese Rigging Method

Well it was an interesting walk in today, glare/black ice all the way - the side walks were awful. So it's winter now, thoughts turn in weird directions; I've now got the urge to go popping/plugging for tuna next year. So cruising around the internet I find this. Like the Australian plugs these have a round (egg ?) sinker shoved up their butts. From the Plat fishing site:
Fiserman lure Big Mouth GTP

Text to first picture:

It lets a shocking leader pass from a lip portion.
The diameter of inner of a pipe is 2mm.
The shocking leader of 200lb or more can use.

Second picture:

Swivel and a shocking leader are tied.

Third:

Swivel is stuffed into lure.

Fourth:

It is completion when equipping with hook in a split ring.

Fifth:

If hook up a fish , hook and lure will separate.
You could catch a fish certainly, since a hook and lure separate.

Just winter time food for thought guys. Hmm I only see four pictures in the preview wonder why I know I loaded five.

best,

Bill

Cool! I had missed this thread. That's interesting Bill. Sure makes for a clean presentation to the fish.
I'll have to try that out.
