here's the "Weakinator" AKA "Tommy Plug" named by a weakfish-freak buddy of mine, Tom, here on Long Island. Pick a color and I'll send one out to ya, it's going to be a little while though, I'm swamped with things to do. about 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/4 oz. Fickle little thing. If the lip(it's really an indiana blade) is too far back, I mean like millimeters, it's a stick in the water. If the nose is too rounded, it's a stick in the water. I think I got the style down now, fun to build, little different than the usual things I make. Swims with a nice wiggle and stays high in the water column, almost on top, and will stay on the surface at a crawl. Couple of guys I made them for use a worm weight in front on the leader to get them down deeper and did real well with them. weakinator.jpg | ||
