The Hairy one is a Popper and the hair acts the same as a paracute jig.
Its works very well.
I was working on the same thing but a needle fish and I was not getting the action i wanted but was getting alot of surface splashing so I turned a popper in early june and it produced without paint. So here is one painted.

I made a jointed swimmer in april and gave it to fishermans paradise to test. He played around with it durning the summer and toldme to make more and dont change a thing.
The other swimmers I was just playing around with and I liked the action so I made a few more with differant color patterns.
the picture really dont do the paint justice. The green and yellow popper starts as dark green and changes colors 4 time into the yello at the end.there are alot of fades and scales on the swimmers. Im really loving the airbrush.
