Thanks Armand....
I would rather not have to explain to my doctor what I was doing with a nail gun in my hand..... Unless I really have to

I think I'll be all right. Ice brought the swelling down a bit.
Can't wait to see the bruising in the morning

Like this site...NO BULL SHIT!!! Get your A$$ to at least and ER. ATMED Urgent Care in Johnston or the place on 44 in Smithfield.. near A&W Root Beer. Have you had a tetanus shot in the past few years? Never mind what the doc thinks..we all know you're a bit daft anyway!!! Otherwise you wouldn't be building plugs and "normal" folks don't shoot nails into their hands!

Lu, How'd you like that cypress? Put up a PIC. I think it's my favorite. If the primary growth were not so expensive I'd use that all of the time for anything that's going to be on top! I think JayR would be pissed though 'cause he wants it for furniture. Ya, he can build quality furniture with what he has in his shop...if he can keep from shooting himself in the foot...HAND!
My saw mill friend called me a few days ago to see if I wanted some maple that he found laying around...DUUHH! That was hard to answer! As long as it's at least 15/16 thick, I can make regular needles. If it's less I make the slim needles like the old Boone Needles. Hey, I epoxied your neked today.

All is well with the hand Doc.... swelling is down, I can move everything I could move before and no pain.... It's just a little stiff/sore. Went back out to the shed and even managed to get two walls together and up. Had to call in help to get them lifted but did manage to do the rest myself.
Soaked in the hot tub when I came in. I feel a lot better now.
Got to wonder how deep the 3" nail would have gone if it had not hit the bone so squarely.... I'll bet right through....

Now let's get back to the ho'ing talk. I want the present Lu's bringing ya (just to look at of course) and Armand's blue acrylic pikie
