LU...WHAAATTTSSS UUUPPP! Hey Lu, I guess that Kev got to most of us! Your bottle darter is spectacular. I threw it into a local pond just to see the action...REAL SWEET!!! Not to sure if it'll ever get thrown where a fish might hit it!!! It's a great display work! Can't wait to throw those skinny plugs when the sand eels are in!
Welcome to this new place...gotta love the name!!!

That's the same reason I hate to throw such a work of art! OK if a big cow takes it, but I'll be real pissed if it's a BOOFISH. Even though I prefer the fight of a blue to that of a bass (pound for pound only) those suckers just aren't too fussy, so why destroy a thing of beauty. OK...I'll fish it...NEXT YEAR!!!
Have you turned any of that cypress yet? I did a couple this week...man I love that stuff. I didn't knock myself out drying it, just cut to size and open stacked in the basement for a couple of weeks with the dehumidifiers running as usual....no splits, cracks or errors! I even left a couple of turned plugs in both AWC and cypress for about a month with no sealer and they're fine also!

Almost forgot...You guys must be up to your ears in bass right now. There are still big fish here chasing the ocean herring. I pickled my boat...DAM N...too often the fish are 2 -3 casts out of reach.
