The CC has scuppers.....the Cuddys don't unless the owner raised the deck at some point.

The scuppers and transom support would be my main concern with twins. I'd make damn sure whatever bracket you have is supported internally very well (with custom added supports), not just thru-bolted.

However, if twins, I'd stick with 150's and keep the weight down. 300 ponies is plenty of power, especially for outboards

A guy I know has twin 140 Evinrude VRO's on a bracket on a 233 CC. He has thought about new power and has considered both single and twins.

These folks still make the 233, fully composite, etc, and with outboard power. Max HP they build theirs with is twin 200's. Keep in mind, the mold is the same, but the internal structure is assuredly different
