Hi everybody, I used to be an occasional fisher in Australia way back when, but since I been here in NJ and am raising 6 kids I haven't touched a rod! That's nearly 20 years! Anyhow, I'm researching local lakes in northern NJ to find the best to introduce the kids to water, fish and open air. Does anyone here have any experience with Wanaque or Greenwood Lake fishing? A friend suggests we go beach fishing off Sandy Hook, but I have little experience with beach fishing. We used to fish from the boat or a good wharf. NIce to be here and meet you all! | i'll have to say that it is refreshing to see someone trying to get their kids into something worth while like fishing rather than just sitting them in front of the tv or the x box. wish I could help you out but i'm a CT angler and primarily salt.  | ||
