| well ya see, i started this site in the hopes of creating a user friendly place to talk and discuss the facts of fishing. it is something i have been doing since age 8. wont mention any sitenames. but it seems theirs is a buisness rather than a forum . if they dont like what we are doing, tuff noogies. nbs will stay on topic. nbs:confused1: | ||

| I love that crazy VooDoo that You Do..... As on objective view, if someone starts a web-based information business and folks are happy to pay for their ads, memberships, and other services then I say that's great for them. THe line gets crossed when they ask you to go away because they feel threatened by competition - or when someone spams their sites to purposely undermine their commerce. I think this site is freakin awesome and I think the same about many other sites (not necessisarily fishing based) - even sites that have strict advertising rules - Today is Thanksgiving Day - among the many other blessings that I have been fortunate to count, I get the distinct pleasure of adding this site and the folks that make it possible to my thoughts and thanks. Keep up the GREAT work fellas - you're awesome!!! | ||

| I agree H'Islander. We have NO BEEF at all with other site, their ad practices, or charging fees (hey, we may someday, who knows). It's their choice. The spamming thing is bad, wrong, and won't be tolerated, period. We have had some interesting dealings with a few other sites, asking us to do, or stop doing, some things that make no sense. It is a free market economy and we have our rights as well. I am glad you like the place, as we put alot of work into it. We do really want this place to be different than the rest. That is a stretch in today's world, but it is our goal. Enjoy the site, enjoy life, and fish everytime as if it were your last !! | ||
