The last day of the season is tomorrow and the weather looks pretty bad....fished my last day for the '07-'08 season yeaterday, sold one after a month of bad luck. Kept pulling or breaking them off, sort of taxing after a while. Funny thing is though, you look forward to the season all year long, by the time Jan. 31st rolls around you are ready for it to be over. 8 out of forty or so days paid well...then there were the days where it blew 25+ and we caught nothing....kind of like an in the water boatshow in full motion. This year also brought alot of awarnes to the state of this fishery....Not a good thing....Pretty soon the RAINBOW warrior will be out there running down sporty boats by the Knuckle. | ||

| Too bad on the end of the season for ya. Sounds like it was as poor as the last couple of years for the Giant Bluefin Tuna. As for the awareness issue, yeah, we need to be aware that the small GBFT fishery on the eastern USA seaboard is NOT the source of the fishery decline. | ||
