Welcome to NBS I like the name BeaverPatrol If only We could stay young . Where do you fish mostly .There's a crowd here that fishes from New Haven to old Saybrook that'll learn ya how to fish for stripes .They show'd me a thing or two.

thanks to all for the welcome.
i have enjoyed fishing since i was young, but was never really serious about it. now i'm hooked and want to learn more about the sport and get some good equipment. i would like to fish the saybrook area, and i heard about stripers in the ct river in the spring. that sounds like fun
