| Server Move Coming Tonight...@ 10:00 PM, NB$ will shutdown for a period, while I perform the DB backups and builds on the new server. I am going to attempt a redirect, that should work until the DNS setting propagate, so hopefully, the outage will be short. The site should look the same, and act the same, however, there is always a level of risk in doing these things, and I am prepared to handle what I need to. We will have much better performance capability, and backup/restore, if needed. All good stuff, with more to come, but the bottom line, after the initial move, it may have a bump, but all data and pix should be there (I may miss a couple, but I'll get it whole). Oh yeah, while the redirect is in play, the URL you will see in the browser after the redirect will be an IP address and trailing directories. I will clean this up as soon as the DNS propagation is complete. You will likely need to log off and back on a couple of times as we progress through the next 24 hours... Wish me luck. |
