New to NBS sportfishing

Hi Everyone, my name is Dave and if you can believe it, I live in Little Rock Arkansas, hence my loggin name [yeah, I know I misspelled it]! I'm trying to figure out how to go in and correct the spelling to Landlocked Beachbum. Although I have been here for 35 years, I was born in and lived in Corpus Christi Texas at various times in my childhood and actually learned to fish there when I was 5. My first fish was a nice Red on a cane pole! I fish every year down in Destin for a week or 10 days and occasionally make week long trips to Corpus too, with my small [16'] boat. It ain't much but it gets me out there and I'm not afraid to fish inshore with it, even in some pretty rough conditions. I'm looking forward to learning more about one of my two favorite sports. The other is bow hunting.

Dave

Welcome Dave. I'd go nuts if I lived that far from the salt, but that's just me. I corrected the spelling per your email request.

Thanks again. I have many lakes within an hour to hour and a half that are excellent striper fishing, so it's not all bad. The two best things about Arkansas are that it's a beautiful place for the most part, although it's the buggiest place I've ever seen, and it's not crowded. Heck, I guess that the bugs, the climate and no coast are WHY it's not crowded!
