Hi all from Southern California. Not sure how I found this site, but I like it. Have to add this now to my list of fishing sites. Spend my time on senor tuna and bloddy decks as well as sc surf fishing.

Love the surf fishing thing. Close, fast, cheap, can do it at a moments notice. But I did my first 5-day trip last year. WOW! Down to Guadalupe Island, MX out of San Diego.

Until later......................................

John

And just how did you know about my new interest in lure making? Actually, here in So California, The Berkley gulp bait has been dubbed "fish crack". Not many poppers used in the surf, though I'll try.

Thanks for the heads up on the lure board. That just answered the questions that has been bugging me. Bought a small lathe from Rockler last week, chopped up pieces of some 10/4 mahogony that has been in the garage for 15 years. Came out of a remodel in Beverly Hills. Rails from the front doors. Didn't have the hart to throw them away. Gonna have to try the airbrush think next I think.

Thanks, and you'll be hearing from me soon!!! With some pics too!

Thanks John
