In order to control spambot posts, and promote active membership, I have added a new "feature" (restriction) to the forum. The "feature" restricts the following: Private Messaging: Members must have at least 5 posts to SEND Private Messages to anyone other than Possum, ARCTEKJim, 74Formula233, and Full Moon Fishing. They can, however, receive Private Messages from anyone (just won't be able to reply until the 5 post minimum is met). Posting of Links: Members must have at least 2 posts in order to put a web link (including external picture links) into their post. This is a major deterrent to spambots, effectively preventing them from flooding this board. Viewing Attachments: Members must have at least 1 post in order view attachments in any post. This is limited to attachments only. I think this should be fine for here, and it is very lenient. We are working hard to keep this place free of B$ and these are little steps that can keep it that way. If you have any thoughts or feedback (positive or otherwise), feel free to post up here. | It seems this board(vbulletin) has a lot of options that you can tweak to set it up any way you like. Keep on tweakin'. Looking good!
